Dalat
Hi everyone
Just about to board our flight from Dalat back to Saigon after two night visit to this charming mountain retreat which has a charming lake as it's centre piece.
Spent a great day of sightseeing around the main sights yesterday incuding the last King's summer palace, pagodas and a Lat village where Louise got to meet a class of students at a local school (which was quite a treat for her).
We were taken to a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the outer area of Dalat for lunch which we were a little apprehensive about but we ended up really enjoying the experience.
Lots of great scenery around this area and we are really enjoyed the sights and sounds as we wander around the back streets away from the central part of town which has an amazing marketplace.
One more night in Saigon then home tomorrow.
